Carolyn Quist

As a Project Manager for The Center for Health Design, Ms. Quist supports the activities of the ESC, CHER and EDAC. She works closely with these groups to develop resources, plan meetings and maintain records.

She holds an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Washington, Tacoma. The culmination of her Master's was a thesis titled, "The Role of the Built Environment on the Hospital Experience." During her studies, Ms. Quist examined the sociological, psychological and cultural impact of the hospital environment on patients and staff.

While at the University of Washington, she worked with the campus career counselor to teach resume and career building courses. In addition, she was an AmeriCorps member who served at The American Red Cross. As part of the Disaster Services Division, she provided emergency housing and support to victims of local disasters.

Prior to this, Ms. Quist was a residential treatment provider at Catholic Community Services. She has her B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
