Mark Goodman

Vice President, Project Development

Mr. Goodman is the Vice-President of Project Development and is responsible for managing and directing the research and advocacy initiatives of The Center, which includes growing and expanding current programs and developing new initiatives. One of his main areas of focus is the Pebble Project research initiative.

Mr. Goodman's career spans 17 years in professional business-to-business communications working in a variety of job functions. He first learned the healthcare publishing as a display advertisement salesman with International Publishing Group, Inc. and later expanded his skills as a sales manager, publisher, group publisher, and vice president and ultimately as president and CEO of Medquest Communications, LLC, before it was acquired by Vendome Group in 2005.

Throughout his career, Mr. Goodman has managed and worked hands-on in the successful growth of the entire business, including the launch of new publications, educational events, websites, and the positioning of national trade publications and medical journals. In his 10 years as Medquest's President and CEO, the company experienced tremendous growth while maintaining a stable staff, excellent editorial content, respected professional products, and progressive working ties with the industries served. Mr. Goodman enjoys cultivating new business concepts, relationships, and products.

Many professionals responsible for creating and maintaining healthcare environments, and providers, and patients alike have benefited from Mr. Goodman's endeavors. Some of his most relevant works include: DESIGN for Senior Environments, which was launched while he was publisher of Nursing Homes magazine; and Healthcare Design magazine and the annual HEALTHCARE DESIGN conference, which were both founded in association with The Center for Health Design.
