Volunteers are the lifeblood of many of our activities. As a member of our volunteer corps, you can participate in exciting opportunities to influence the transformation of healthcare buildings into healthy environments. You can join any of our interdisciplinary, special-focus councils and assist with the direction and growth of The Center for Health Design’s (CHD) research, educational and advocacy programs.
Council members provide CHD staff with valuable feedback on programs, review research proposals, develop study materials for educational programs, perform literature searches, serve as advocates for evidence-based design to the wider healthcare and design communities and/or present research findings at conferences.
Many CHD programs also require help from short-term task forces, offering additional opportunities for you to volunteer and contribute leadership and expertise.
