Specialty Services: Radiation Therapy including high-dose radiation brachytherapy, Image-guided radiosurgery and radiation therapy, and stereotactic radiotherapy. The center also will feature an Infusion Center, full-time Pharmacy, an Appearance Center and Cancer Resource Center.
Project Vision/Goals: Design and deliver a cutting-edge Cancer facility. This 51,000 square foot facility kept with Slidell Memorial Hospital's mission to improve the quality of life in the community, the new Regional Cancer Center will allow the hospital to strengthen its surgical oncology subspecialties; establish and promote highly specialized multi-disciplinary disease teams; and allow for continued enhancement and growth of programs such as patient supportive care services and a formalized patient navigator program.
As part of an ongoing partnership with Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell LA, Business Interiors By Staples helped find the Healthcare furniture solutions to be the perfect blend of comfort, value and flexibility that they were looking for to complement design schemes in public and private work spaces. Our focus was on healthcare solutions including attributes like bleach washable finishes, performance fabrics and bariatric seating models that provided the aesthetic appeal and durability the hospital envisioned for their various applications and visual goals.
