Eppstein Uhen Architects, in association with BLM Architects, designed a five-story facility with 215,000 square feet for an ambulatory care center and 22,000 square feet for medical offices. The center serves Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s outpatient and urgent care programs. The project included six operating rooms, in-house central sterile, PACU, and a twenty-six room day surgery suite. Also included are outpatient Pain and GI minor procedure rooms. There is a full service Radiology department, a Medical Oncology department, and multi-specialty medical offices. The building is clad in natural stone with a curved glass facade, creating a warm, welcoming entrance for patients.
