“I am pleased to welcome these partners to our community of innovative healthcare organizations committed to applying evidence-based design to create healing environments,” states Mark Goodman, Vice President, Project Development for The Center for Health Design. “Each of these new partners, although all very different, is dedicated to improving the quality of care for patients, while promoting safety and health for staff.”
A collaboration between The Center for Health Design and forward-thinking healthcare providers, design firms, and vendors in North America and Europe, the Pebble Project’s goal is to create change in the healthcare industry by providing researched and documented examples of healthcare facilities whose design has made a difference in improving patient and staff outcomes, as well as operating efficiency. More than 70 organizations have participated in the Pebble Project since it began in 2000.
