Speaker: CHD Affiliate Member, Christopher Brooks is Senior Acoustics Consultant at Acoustic Dimensions, an architectural acoustics consulting firm. He has over two decades experience in architectural acoustics, including eleven as head of Orpheus Acoustics, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

 

A healthy acoustic environment is an essential component of a healing environment. But how is a healing environment with a healthy acoustic environment to be designed and built? The answer is to integrate acoustics into the design of a healthcare from the very beginning—just as one would with any project where sound is an essential element, such as a concert hall.
