San Francisco Strong:
Health Design Insights Networking Event Brings Community Together

Last week, a large gathering of the San Francisco healthcare design community met for a Health Design  Insights Networking Event. Speakers included Sheila Babnis with gapingvoid, presenting "Highlighting EBD Strategies: a Visualization Approach", Steven Steinberg with HGA Architects and Engineers, presenting "Living on the Edge: a Patient-Centered Medical Home Model in a Rural Setting", and Xiaobo Quan with Catherine Ancheta showcasing The Center's Design Insights & Strategies Tool.

After the presentations, a raffle was conducted and several books were given away, including Sustainable Healthcare Architecture by Robin Guenther and Gail Vittori.

A great surprise for the lucky winner of this book, Grace Hsu, Director of Design Management at Stanford University Medical Center, was being able to get her book autographed by Robin Guenther herself!

The evening ended with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a  chance to meet and talk with everyone who came. To see more photos of this event, go to The Center's Facebook page.
