Content

In developing EDAC, volunteers stayed true to CHD's core principals: research, education and advocacy. Years of research were applied to developing the base knowledge for the program, which focuses on the following content domains:

• Evidence-Based Design for Healthcare
• Research
• Pre-Design
• Design
• Construction and Occupancy

Led by a professional pscyhometrician with Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP), a group of core EDAC volunteers created a detailed content outline (DCO), which lists evidence-based design tasks within the five domains. The DCO will help the core EDAC volunteers finalize the test items.
