Kati Peditto, PhD, EDAC, WELL Faculty is an environmental psychologist and an expert on health in the built environment. As the director of the Human Experience Lab at Perkins&Will, she engages with designers, clients, and occupants to co-create buildings that engage our senses, support our needs, and bring joy to our communities.
She is currently serving as President of the APA Society for Environmental Psychology and a member of the APA Applied Psychology Committee. Her work has been featured internationally, including the Design Lab with Bon Ku podcast, The Atlantic, the BBC, and the Washington Post.
She holds a PhD in Human Behavior and Design from Cornell University, where she also completed postdoctoral training before bringing her research expertise to the architecture and design industry.
