Adelante Healthcare is a private nonprofit federally qualified health center with a mission to improve the health of its communities. We are driven by a belief in sustainable health care for the individual, the community, and the environment supported by a comprehensive health center model.
By integrating internal medicine, family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, dental, lab, pharmacy, WIC nutrition, and a healthy café into a single location, Adelante delivers convenient accessible and affordable services under one roof.
In November 2012, Adelante Healthcare will open a new 43,000 sq. ft. Gold LEED certified community health center in Mesa, AZ. This site is the second of several new facilities to be built over the next five years. This innovative setting will contribute to the Adelante goal of creating a patient centered health care home. Adelante strives to align the physical environment to positively aid patients in the healing process. Outcomes will be evaluated through patient and staff satisfaction, process flow redesign, and community engagement events for the Pebble Project.
The new Mesa facility is being built in partnership with the East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT), A.T. Still University, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Mesa Museum for Youth, One Oh One Gallery, Mesa Arts Center, Metro Light Rail, Desert Botanical Gardens, and The Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University.
