St. Joseph's-Baptist Health Care

Scheduled to open in Spring 2010, St. Joseph’s Hospital-North will be a three-story, 350,000 square-foot acute care hospital featuring 108 all-private rooms, a full-service 30-bed emergency department and a technologically advanced all-digital, paperless environment.

Key areas will include:

• All Private Rooms
• Intensive Care Unit
• Two Medical/Surgical Care units
• Mother/Baby unit
• Observation units for short-stay patients
• Surgery Center
• Interventional Treatment Center
• ER with 20 private treatment rooms and a 10-bed fast-track area

The new facility is being designed to meet the following operational and patient goals: 

1. Increase patient accessibility and comfort
2. Enhance privacy and security
3. Utilize materials, finishes, and systems that maximize operational efficiencey
4. Create an environment that supports the St. Joseph’s focus on the family. 

The design firm for the project is Ranon and Partners, Inc.
