ORDER YOUR COPY OF A VISUAL REFERENCE FOR EVIDENCE-BASED DESIGN Jain Malkin, noted leader in research-based design, shares compelling knowledge and stunning visuals in her latest book, A Visual Reference for Evidence-based Design. With a zeal for fact-finding she has reviewed hundreds of peer-reviewed journal articles on the built environment's influence on patient care and analyzed dozens of new patient-centered projects. In the process she uncovered evidence to make healthcare facility design more effective. The result is a snapshot of how visionary planners and healthcare leaders are reinventing acute care in the 21st century. Read the introduction chapter.
