RESEARCH NEWS

The CHD CHER Committee is conducting a national online survey about Critical Issues in Healthcare Environments to identify and describe important issues in healthcare environments - settings for ambulatory, acute, and long-term care.

The study is centered on issues and problems that have a bearing on the physical environment. The ultimate goal is to identify important research questions, leading to evidence-based design information.

DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR NIGHTINGALE AWARD

Sponsored by Contract in association with The Center for Health Design and the HEALTHCARE DESIGN.07 Conference, the competition recognizes and encourages design excellence in healthcare furniture, furnishings, and related products for the environment of care. Products must be new to the market since November 2006 and not entered in a previous Nightingale Awards competition. The deadline is October 1st.
