Maintaining Certification

Continuing Education

Have you moved or changed employers?

Be sure to contact the EDAC team and Meazure Learning if you move or change employers to ensure you receive your renewal notifications.

After becoming EDAC certified, you will need to renew your credential every two (2) years through the Meazure Learning's online renewal application. Your renewal date will fall either on February 1 or July 1 of the following year depending on the month you become certified. You will need to:

  • Complete six (6) approved Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hours, and
  • Pay a $99 USD renewal fee. *A $50 late fee is applied during the 90-day grace period to renew.

EDAC certified candidates will be notified  to renew via hard copy and email four months prior, and email reminder notices will be sent one month prior, and during the 90-day grace period from Meazure Learning ([email protected]) and the EDAC Team.

CEUs can be obtained through CHD events/webinars or other approved courses. Read your Welcome Packet for more information. Affiliate+ members view CHD webinars in the list below for free.

Submit a Course for EDAC CEU credit

To submit a course for EDAC CEU credit, 75% of the content will need to be on any of the 8 steps of the EBD process. A $50 Course Management Fee is required for each course submitted. If you are an Affiliate of The Center or employed by an EDAC Advocate or Champion Firm, there is no fee to submit a course.

For workshops and conferences, the fee is $500 to review the first 25 sessions and an additional $20 for every session after. For workshops and conferences, please email [email protected].
