David Yeh

David Yeh serves as Sr. Global Solutions Manager for UTC Building Solutions Group, a business unit of United Technologies, the world’s largest provider of technologies and services dedicated to making buildings and cities more energy efficient, safe and secure. He is part of the global Building Solutions Group, which serves as a central point of contact for key accounts and delivers highly engineered solutions to solve customer problems in various vertical markets. UTC Building Solutions Group serves major enterprise customers with UTC’s broad portfolio of building products, solutions and services including Otis elevators, Carrier heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, Chubb security systems and Kidde fi re systems. Its AdvanTEC experts work with customers to design, develop and deliver innovative building solutions to make buildings more efficient, improve user experiences and enhance occupant safety and security. UTC Building Solutions Group works in collaboration with UTC Climate, Controls & Security and Otis, business units of United Technologies Corp., a provider of high-technology systems and services to the building and aerospace industries worldwide.
 
David has over 30 years of experience in medical devices and global healthcare market.  He has served in sales, marketing, business development, operations and senior leadership roles for Fortune 100 and start-up medical companies. His experience includes:

  • Achieved $20 million in pre-orders and established global distribution channels and new markets for Evena Medical, a start-up company that developed disruptive Glass technology, which images veins and provides connectivity, telemedicine, IoT and wearable technologies.
  • Served as a Channel Marketing Manager at GE Healthcare working cross functionally with 8 business units and 20 diagnostic product lines to create new markets and alliances with vertical business units.  Over a two year period, David grew the channel by 165%, adding new revenue and organic growth to each business unit.
  • Established a U.S. company, Visunex Medical, for premature and newborn pediatric vision screening. Beyond manufacturing a baby camera in Suzhou, China, the company included remote services, specifically for an ophthalmic retina specialist review company to remotely review captured images in a cloud-based telemedicine system for new born vision screen and Retinopathy of Prematurity.
  • Restructured Winco, a private medical furnishing manufacturer, growing revenue--33% the first year and another 25% the second year--by developing new opportunities and global relationships with hospital facilities management, project leaders and designers. 

David received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UCLA.
