In an age where women look to social media for health support, or stream their own health journey, how does architecture evolve to meet the specific needs of women's health? Today's women's health centers require spaces for extreme privacy balanced with the reality of highly public experiences. 

This webinar outlines design decisions that support the patient experience in woman’s health centers including patient arrival and flow, room layouts, materials selection, and the role that art contributes to a welcoming and healing environment. The presenter will highlight common design elements from several case studies including: an urban adaptive reuse project, an inpatient maternal and birthing center, and a new construction fit-out—with results and valuable lessons learned.
