Every patient wants a great healthcare experience, right? But how do we design for the optimal patient experience? It starts with “why?” because a fundamental element of designing for experience is understanding a person's intention and how it frames their experience. Using insights gained from a multiyear research effort by Gensler to identify and quantify the factors of design that impact the human experience, as well as other industry sources, this webinar digs deeper to explore a trend discussed at these two speakers standing-room only session at last year’s Healthcare Design Expo & Conference.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore the reasons why people do what they do in the physical environment.

  • Discuss what factors of design impact the patient experience.

  • Discover new sources for insights about the patient experience.

  • Find out what issues others are grappling with in designing the optimal patient experience.
