This webinar, part of the ongoing ICONs series, will focus on innovative, but less-recognized, healthcare projects by architects and designers who fly under the radar and/or are not yet well known. These design professionals have taken a fresh look at the healthcare industry, creating inventive and unexpected new facilities for patient care. Presenters will uncover how these firms received the commissions and created design solutions, and will share the final project outcomes. This Hospital ICONs presentation includes interviews with clients, architects and designers to capture project goals, statistics, architectural photos and drawings, and will share the important “lessons-learned” with the audience. This program will also have bonus coverage, featuring a pandemic hospital in Wuhan China.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify innovative healthcare projects created by less-recognized architects and designers.
  • Assess the outcomes of these projects related to the designers’ background in healthcare planning and design.
  • Report how these smaller firms got these important healthcare commissions.
  • Evaluate client “lessons learned” using less traditional healthcare design firms.
