Presentation

Every owner deservedly expects to have an interior that will meet their objectives; promote health, well-being, be aesthetically pleasing, durable, and maintainable while creating a safe environment. This session will explore using a systematic approach, such as commissioning, which can help facilitate success for a functional interior system, design elements, and components that support the aesthetics and effective care delivery.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand strategies & project examples to sustainably preserve the life of interior systems and finish investments in your facility.
  • Understand how the Owners Project Requirements (OPR) can help drive the FHI Safety Risk Assessment and contribute to the design and long-term operational effectiveness of the facility.
  • Describe the added value of an interior focused commissioning agent for the design team and project and owner to meet infection control, acoustics and other goals.
  • Analyze the components of a well written, inclusively written Owners Project Requirements (OPR).
