Hospital and outpatient settings are designed to support treatment services and patient care. Yet healthcare facility design may not fully consider an individual’s physical and cognitive abilities. As we age, our ability to process and navigate the built environment changes, creating challenges for older adults and people living with cognitive impairments.

As of July 9, 2020, The Center for Health Design requires a CEU management fee for verification certificates for all webinars and EBD Journal Clubs.
