A convergence of technology, manufacturing, modular design and prefabrication is rendering creative solutions in the next frontier of healthcare facility deployment. However, utilizing prefabrication successfully is not a one size fits all solution and requires a thoughtful design process to meet the goals of the project. 

This webinar will discuss the need for upfront analysis and due diligence to successfully deploy prefabrication on unique projects. The presenter will tour through a range of systems and examples utilized on an award-winning medical office building in California. He will then share an additional case study that provides a view into the future of these strategies.

Keith Fine is a Principal at SLAM and serves as the Management Lead, Technical lead for the Los Angeles Studio as well as the national Director of Innovation. Many attendees of The Center for Health Design’s webinars have inquired about IDCEC approval so they can earn ASID, IIDA, and IDS CEU’s. We have looked into this and unfortunately, the cost to upload courses to IDCEC is simply too high at this time. You can still earn credit for attending our webinars by requesting a verification certificate. As of July 9, 2020, The Center for Health Design requires a CEU management fee for verification certificates for all webinars and EBD Journal Clubs.
