Brian Belpanno is the Associate Executive Director of Hospital Operations at Cohen Children's Medical Center, part of Northwell Health. He leads non-clinical operations which include environmental services, chaplaincy, concierge, supply chain, engineering, construction, and security.
He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Hofstra University. He has been leading healthcare operations for 7 years after spending 10 years in manufacturing and distribution.
During his tenure, he has lead the design, construction, and operationalizing of various pediatric hospital units, including: a 60K visit emergency department, ICU, med/surg units, MRI, central pharmacy, BMT unit, and is currently working on a pediatric operating suite, outpatient multi-specialty center, and a neuroscience unit.
In his off-time, Brian is an award winning home-brewer who resides in Lindenhurst (Long Island), NY with his family and can be reached at bbelpanno@northwell.edu
