Christine A. Schon

Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Community Group Practice Divisions

As the senior, non-physician leader, Christine is responsible for overseeing the operating and financial performance of four divisions consisting of over 400 providers.  Other professional healthcare experience includes key roles in clinical and business operations within large, multispecialty group practices in New York, Montana and Oregon.
 
Chris recently completed a Master is Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College, holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and is a Fellow, American College of Medical Practice Executives.  She served as the Chair of the Board of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and as Co-Chair of the MGMA CEO Search Committee.   She was a member of the Value Proposition Task Force, National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).    Chris has presented at state, local and national professional meetings on topics related to physician group practice operations.  In addition, she has taught graduate level courses on medical information systems, U.S. healthcare systems and organizational development.
