Jaques Black has over 40 years of expertise within the field of Healthcare Facility Planning and Design and has worked with many world-renowned hospitals and research facilities, designing buildings and methodologies that have altered the way health care is implemented.
He has completed major healthcare projects, many of them behavioral healthcare projects, including planning for the Bronx Psychiatric Center, renovations for NYU Lutheran Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
He was Principal-in-Charge for the design of the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, a unique facility located in an historic gymnasium. He has also completed a master plan for the redevelopment and upgrading to current Behavioral Healthcare standards of 12 Psychiatric Inpatient Units on New York Presbyterian Hospital’s historic Westchester campus.
