He is President of Huddy HealthCare Solutions, a healthcare consulting and design firm focused on emergency department strategic planning, process improvement, and facility design. He is the author of the book Emergency Department Design: A Practical Guide to Planning for the Future published by the American College of Emergency Physicians and just completed the 2nd Edition to be published in 2016. Mr. Huddy has authored numerous articles and spoken to many international audiences on a wide variety of topics regarding emergency department operations, planning and high performance facility design.
