Luke Leyden, AIA, is a registered architect overseeing design within the 4.75 million square feet of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics facilities. Luke has spent the last 14 years focusing exclusively on the design of health care facilities, looking for ways to improve the patient and visitor experience. He brings a key understanding of the implications design can have on the patients and the facility that serves them. Luke oversaw the planning and design of the Crisis Stabilization Unit at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and has in-depth knowledge of the operational workings and successful project outcomes.
