Scott M. Pecore

VP, Strategic Business Development, Healthcare & Senior Wellness, Mohawk Group

Scott Michael Pecore joined Mohawk Group in the Fall of 2022 as VP, Strategic Business Development for its Healthcare & Senior Wellness market segments. 

Mr. Pecore is a respected industry thought leader with extensive experience in US healthcare supply contracting & group purchasing, most recently leading the National Accounts program for Armstrong Flooring from 2020-2022.

Since 2015, Scott has held executive roles focused on strategic enterprise & revenue growth initiatives for the two largest healthcare performance improvement organizations in the US; Premier, Inc. (NC) and Vizient, Inc. (TX).  During this period, he worked closely with leaders from the nation’s most prestigious Academic Medical Centers & Community Health Systems on supply chain efficiency, product utilization management, brand standardization and reduction in cost & clinical variation.

In 2014, Pecore joined the Business Development team at The Cleveland Clinic’s big data innovation, Explorys, Inc. (OH) and was influential in the company’s sale to IBM Watson (NY) in 2015.  Mr. Pecore served as VP, National Accounts for SurgiCount Medical, Inc. (CA) from 2012-2014 and propelled its growth through the acquisition by Stryker Corporation (MI) in 2014.

Scott joined healthcare safety solutions icon, Ansell (NJ) in 2004, where he managed US Corporate Accounts until 2011, and began his career in the security & ID card manufacturing industry, holding channel sales positions from 1998-2003 for Bristol ID Technologies (NY).

Scott Pecore has been engaged in several trade associations throughout his career, including Association of National Account Executives (ANAE), where he served as a founding member from 2007-2019 and President in 2020, Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Mr. Pecore earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York in American & Pre-Law Studies and an executive education from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
Scott is a native of Upstate NY and resides in Florida with his family.
