Attendees will participate in an interactive forum lead by industry experts including infection preventionists, environmental services leaders, facility managers, industry partners, and design specialists and will explore the importance of integrating the available options to continually improve outcomes and mitigate the risk of infection.
Infection control has been a critical consideration in the design and construction of the built environment for decades with environmental surfaces being a focal point for infection control interventions. However, even with routine and terminal cleaning of room surfaces and medical equipment, these measures are frequently inadequate. The solution is ultimately linked to an integration of design, policies and protocols, and compliance and behavior – a systems approach.

Cancelation policy: All requests for refunds must be received via email no later than 4:30 pm PDT, 21 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after that time. An administrative fee, (10% of the registration cost) will be charged for all refunds. Registrations made within 21 days of the event will not be refunded. Substitutions of attendees may be made at any time without charge. We reserve the right to offer qualified substitute presenters in the event of an emergency, illness, etc. If a particular presentation has to be cancelled, attendees are still responsible for the full amount of their registration fees. Every effort will be made to immediately notify registrants of changes or cancellations. There are no exceptions to this refund policy.
