As a senior architect and Vice President with NIKA, Tae Jung provides client leadership, strategic master planning, and design on major global projects. He is an experienced project manager who has master planned, designed, and constructed more than two million square feet of complex healthcare facilities and science & technology buildings throughout North America and Asia, as well as academic and sports facilities in the United States.

A recognized leader in the planning and design of national healthcare and science facilities, Tae is also NIKA’s design practice leader. Throughout his career, he has been intimately involved with planning, programming, and design, and has been instrumental in developing strong, long-term relationships with some of the nation’s top healthcare clients. His award-winning work is executed through an integrated design process that weaves together innovative design and multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve quality built environments for academic and medical institutions.

As part of his design approach, Tae works to employ sustainable strategies at all stages of the project life cycle. Implementing innovative computerized analysis methodologies, he is fully committed to application of design and building techniques that promote reduced energy consumption and decreased environmental footprints for every building he designs. These solutions are more than just environmentally conscious; they are fiscally responsible and promote healthy environments.
