Calling All Up and Coming Researchers - Next Friday is the Deadline to Submit for the New Investigator Research Award
The New Investigator Research Award, created and funded by The Center for Health Design's Research Coalition is designed to encourage more up-and-coming researchers to turn their attention to studying how the built environment impacts outcomes in healthcare environments.

Who Can Enter: The award is open to Ph.D. students and other recent research degree recipients whose early contributions reflect their potential to create, promote, and disseminate research that supports therapeutic, safe, efficient, and effective healthcare settings. Depending on the quality of the proposals received, The Center for Health Design may select two award recipients as follows:
The 2014 New Investigator Research Award “Winner of Distinction" will receive the following:

Cash award of $10,000 to support the proposed research study, as described in the budget section of the proposal.

Stipend of up to $1,000 to support travel and one-night’s lodging at the Healthcare Design Conference in November 2015, during which the award recipient will present the results of the study.

Free registration to attend the Healthcare Design Conference, 2015.
-
A seat on the Research Coalition for 12 months, beginning in October 2014.
The 2014 New Investigator Research Award Winner will receive the following:

The Center for Health Design and Healthcare Design are now accepting presentation proposals for the 2014 Healthcare Design Conference, November 15-18, 2014, at the San Diego Convention Center.
