Ambulatory Care Model Webinar To Highlight
Self-Rooming Concept & Integrated Care Team Space

February 27, 2014

Join us for a webinar discussing how design can support effective new ambulatory care models. Eric Mayne, AIA, RIBA, Architect and Designer, and Jessica Dellenbach, ASID, EDAC, Senior Interior Designer, with Kahler Slater will present how to incorporate ambulatory care design trends and evidenced-based design principles when designing for ambulatory facilities. They will share success stories from the UW Health – Yahara Clinic, an outpatient facility in Monona, Wis., and a proven example of an ambulatory environment that supports a Lean, efficient and collaborative operation.

The presentation will highlight the operational concept of self-rooming and design for Integrated Care Team space. Post occupancy outcomes will be shared, including an 83% reduction in staff footsteps and 25% improvement in patient satisfaction scores.

Eligible Nominees: Nominees can be, but are not limited to, design professionals, design firms, product manufacturers, healthcare professionals (including practitioners), healthcare institutions, healthcare facility owners, researchers, educators, authors, consultants, associations, association leaders, etc.
