Join us at this workshop and work directly with members of The Center for Health Design’s Environmental Standards Council (ESC) to understand the functional program's key components, stakeholders. and how to create a successful project that meets an organization’s strategic goals and bottom line. 

This fully interactive one-day workshop will dive deep into the functional program’s intent and purpose through application. Attendees will work in groups to explore the integrated elements of a functional program for a fictional scenario with guidance from the workshop faculty. More workshop information can be found here.

  • The EDAC Examination Preparation Workshop
    (3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.), is a comprehensive study session to help prepare for the EDAC exam by offering general information about the exam, the types of questions on the exam, a detailed review of the three study guides, an overview of the five domains included on the Exam Content Outline, a summary of key concepts and time for Q&A.

EDAC Exam 

11:00 am - 1:00 pm OR 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

HCD conference attendees have the opportunity to take the EDAC Exam at conference and take advantage of a 10% discount + risk free offer - you can retake the exam once at no charge if you do not pass.  Register by October 5, 2015 to avoid a walk in fee, use code HCD15. 

Here’s how: reserve your seat for the exam with your conference registration and then complete the exam applicationuse code HCD15 to receive the 10% discount (total charge for exam with discount is $319.50). Once you receive the "Notice to Schedule" your exam, you will need to select the "Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center" location on November 16, 2015.
 

*Those who don't pass will be allowed to retake the exam again at a later date for free. Exam must be retaken no less than two months and no more than 12 months after registration date.
