Eric Mayne, AIA, RIBA, Architectural Designer, and Jessica Dellenbach, ASID, EDAC, Senior Interior Designer, with Kahler Slater – architect and interior design firm, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis – will guide you through incorporating ambulatory care design trends and evidenced-based design principles when designing for ambulatory facilities. Eric and Jessica will share success stories from the UW Health – Yahara Clinic, an outpatient facility in Monona, Wis., and a proven example of an ambulatory environment that supports a Lean, efficient and collaborative operation. The presentation will highlight UW Health – Yahara Clinic’s operational concept of self-rooming and design for Integrated Care Team space. Post occupancy outcomes will be shared, including an 83% reduction in staff footsteps and 25% improvement in patient satisfaction scores.
