Designing a New Ambulatory Care Model: A Case Study Look at Ambulatory Design Trends Featuring UW Health – Yahara Clinic

Join us for a presentation discussing today’s Ambulatory Care design trends and how design can support effective new ambulatory care models. Eric Mayne, AIA, RIBA, Architectural Designer, and Jessica Dellenbach, ASID, EDAC, Senior Interior Designer, with Kahler Slater – architect and interior design firm, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis – will guide you through incorporating ambulatory care design trends and evidenced-based design principles when designing for ambulatory facilities. Eric and Jessica will share success stories from the UW Health – Yahara Clinic, an outpatient facility in Monona, Wis., and a proven example of an ambulatory environment that supports a Lean, efficient and collaborative operation. The presentation will highlight UW Health – Yahara Clinic’s operational concept of self-rooming and design for Integrated Care Team space. Post occupancy outcomes will be shared, including an 83% reduction in staff footsteps and 25% improvement in patient satisfaction scores.
