Nurses as Leaders in Healthcare Design

How can nurses add value to the healthcare design process? Does nursing involvement add to the cost of a project or ensure the project’s overall success? These questions and others will be answered in the Webinar that provides an introduction and overview of the newly published book entitled, Nurses as Leaders in Healthcare Design: A Resource for Nurses and Interprofessional Partners.  The co-editors, Dr. Jaynelle Stichler and Kathy Okland, discuss nurses’ unique perspectives in the design process that are essential to ensuring project success. Nurses also contribute significantly to the growing body of knowledge about healthcare design through research, evidence-based design, and formalized rigor in post-occupancy evaluations. Join the authors and co-editors in learning  about the Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design (NIHD) and how the book can serve as a critical resource for nurses (clinical or executive), healthcare leaders or design professionals who desire to improve their knowledge and skills in all phases of healthcare design.
