To avoid premature, costly failures, surface materials selection specifications should be based on performance-based attributes established by common test methods. This webinar will provide tools and resources and direction to current research, field tests, and survey results to explore performance metrics. Presenters will explore the various causes of material performance failures throughout the built environment, and provide new information on breakthroughs in cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting. They’ll offer advice on surface materials, chemical interactions, and surface contaminants to address the high risk of new novel coronaviruses and other drug-resistant community spread pathogens which have made all environments “high risk.”
