This webinar presentation will demonstrate how various forms of research can be used to understand the impacts and outcomes of care and the environment where it is delivered. Presenters will share the research strategies that have been used to evaluate outcomes in nursing homes that participate in PEAK, a state-based, pay-for-performance program that incentivizes person-centered care. Multiple methodological approaches will be highlighted and the presenters will share how data-driven information has guided critical programmatic and design decisions. They’ll share case study examples that definitively connects research to the resulting design of the environment of care.
