Adam Copeland, PhD, is a seasoned strategic leader currently serving as the Director of Digital Strategy at Mayo Clinic's Center for Digital Health. Since joining Mayo Clinic in 2019, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's digital posture, particularly as part of the $5 billion Bold. Forward. Unbound. in Rochester initiative to improve care delivery and support innovative care concepts in new built spaces.
Adam's career reflects a dynamic approach to professional growth, including seven years as a college humanities professor. During this period, he edited two books, authored over 50 articles, and shaped vibrant classroom environments where students synthesized digital culture, traditional humanities, and real-world scenarios.
With a PhD in English: Rhetoric, Writing, and Culture from North Dakota State University, and degrees from Columbia Theological Seminary and St. Olaf College, Adam blends a rich academic tapestry with practical, strategic expertise. At Mayo Clinic, he holds the faculty rank of assistant professor of Healthcare Administration and teaches the course, “Humanities and Digital Health.”
