Jeri Brittin trained as a public health research scientist, and also has a background in interior design and business strategy. Jeri is passionate about leveraging design to achieve desirable human outcomes, and about measuring these outcomes in order to document impacts. Her research portfolio focuses on health and behavioral outcomes, and encompasses healthcare, education, workplace, and community environments. At HDR, Jeri’s team generates high-quality research to inform ongoing practice improvement. Dr. Brittin’s areas of expertise include research design and intervention evaluation, methods and measurement, translation of evidence to practice, quantitative/statistical and qualitative analysis. Her work has also engaged methods from systems science. Jeri is compelled to bring science and design together, believing that each has much to offer the other.
