  1. Assess the infection prevention, IAQ, acoustic and safety properties of different floor coverings.
  2. Explain to others the importance of considering these factors when specifying flooring.
  3. Understand the relationship between flooring and health and safety in hospitals.
  4. Identify flooring factors that can impact patient and staff outcomes.
